I've been told I have a PhD in bad-assery, which is by far the most awesome compliment I have ever received (though such a description mainly illustrates that I have clever friends who come up with catchy phrases).

I'm inspired by life, the universe, and everything. I am dazzled by the world. Science and history are fascinating, especially when presented in an engaging way.

I think a lot about linguistics and language. I spend my time doing nerdy things like trying to identify the methods at work in advertisements and fret about language/culture loss in an increasingly globalized world.
